Apprentice to an Herbalist!

Learn the Time-honored Wisdom of Basic Nutritional and Medicinal Herbalism

Beginning the 3rd Saturday in January 2011, 1:00 - 5:00 PM
This includes a potluck lunch encouraging everyone to cook with healing herbs

The class continues the third Saturday of each month through October. The cost for the entire series is $395.

There are two payments options. The fee may be paid $100 at the first class and $40/month until the balance is paid. Or if you prepay for the series, the fee is $375.

The textbook for the class: The Herbal Medicine Makers Handbook is an additional 23.95.

This is the first class in a 4-year series

Trilby is the only American Herbalist Guild certified Herbalist in Iowa.
She completed an intensive internship with Brigitte Mars in Boulder, Colorado, where she also studied at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies as an apprentice with Ann Drucker who specializes in the Wise Woman Tradition.

Her studies included Rosemary Gladstar’s training program and instruction with Susun Weed. She is currently studying specific herbal medication with Matthew Wood in Minnesota and is taking Dr. Tieraona Low Dog MD’s training course.

Trilby has a degree in Humanistic Psychology, graduate training at the University of Colorado and spent 15 years as a Mental Health Professional. She has studied herbology and natural healing methods for over 17 years. In addition, Trilby has training in Movement/ Dance Therapy and Massage Therapy.
